Roy

Lura

“I ran a personal record of 1.52s for the 10m and 3.82s for the 30m. Working with Fraser was the best thing I’ve done for my strength and speed.”

Roy is an absolute beast. He is 6ft 5” and 100kg when he came to us at Biella. He was lean, strong and fast.

He was already a great athlete, so I had to run some more in-depth tests to understand exactly what would help Roy improve. It turned out, his static strength could improve which would impact his overall speed if we did it correctly.

Roy went from a 3.96s 30m time to a 3.82s 30m time, and still holds the club record of 1.52s for 10m acceleration. When he came to us he was a constant 1.67s runner…We simply introduced resisted sled work, box squats, and a weekly competitive agility and acceleration session.
